Elizabeth Eastwood-Barzdo

Elizabeth is the Head of Learning and Development at the European Centre for Nuclear Research (CERN), having started work at CERN in the L&D team in 2015.

Her career in human resources started in the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), in the Secretariat of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora and in the UNEP Regional Office for Europe.

Prior to starting at CERN, Elizabeth worked at WWF International, where she focused on promoting learning, personal development and creating an internal coaching culture.

Elizabeth holds a Master of Science degree in organisational development, coaching and mentoring from the Sheffield Hallam University (UK).
