Driving the New Learning Organisation

17-Jan-2018 17:00 - 18:30

In a world where the nature of work, the workplace, and workforce are changing at a relentless pace, organisations must be able to respond to new developments. The ability of organisations to evolve is ultimately determined by the capability of their staff. Transformation of the organisation is inextricably linked to the transformation of individuals and for that to become reality, learning has to take central place. This workshop will review the findings of the recent Towards Maturity-CIPD research report called “Driving the New Learning Organisation”, which reveals six clear characteristics of those emerging as genuine learning organisations. Through group discussion the session will explore the following questions to define practical steps in facilitating genuine learning organisations: “What key aspects of L&D strategy are needed to support a new learning organisation?”; “What are the implications of a new learning organisation for HR and L&D teams?”; “What are the implications of a new learning organisation for business growth?”
