Filipa holds the role of Strategic Partner, dedicated to Merck Manufacturing with the mission to drive the vision to move from check-the-box learning to experiential learning in the flow of work. Her purpose is to achieve an adaptive and engaging learning experience supported with the right technology. “Use innovation to achieve the vision” and not “change the vision to use the innovation” is her guidance in this quest.

Holding a degree in Psychology and a master in Marketing Management, Filipa began her career in L&D in the pharmaceutical market with a focus on Sales Force training, where she participated and led projects from coaching, marketing programs to sales force effectiveness. Later she embraced a global role with the Learning Support Services, in the team for Design and Development, where she worked with all business areas of Merck, from manufacturing to research, as Instructional Designer.
