A specialist in AI transformation for the people function, Catalina works with companies to develop the mindset, capabilities, and use cases to responsibly and confidently adopt AI.

In her 25 years in the people function, Catalina has played every role imaginable – from recruiter to HR generalist to Head of Employer Brand, Chief Learning Officer, and ultimately Chief People Officer. Her experience spans SaaS, e-commerce, and telco industries, all with extensive global footprints. She worked for iconic brands (GE, T-Mobile, Vodafone) as well as for purpose-led scale-ups in education technology (FutureLearn, DataCamp).

Catalina is passionate about democratising access to education and learning. She teaches HR tech and People Analytics at Porto Business School and speaks at HR conferences (Unleash, Merit, CIPD Festival of Work) sharing insights on AI in HR and the strategic role of people functions to be the architect of the future of work.
