Miguel Pina e Cunha is a professor of Organization Studies. He teaches Organizational Behaviour, Leadership and Change Management, and Positive Organization Theory at Nova School of Business and Economics (Nova SBE) and collaborates with other leading schools. He received several teaching awards in his role as professor in the undergraduate and MBA programmes. He has served as academic director of the undergraduate programme at Nova SBE, academic director of the Lisbon MBA, and associate dean for graduate programmes.

Miguel received his PhD from Tilburg University. His research has been published in journals such as the Academy of Management Review, Applied Psychology: An International Review, Human Relations, Journal of Applied Behavioral Science, Journal of Management Studies, Organization, and Organization Studies, among others.

He is also the author of more than 30 books and 100 journal articles on themes such as “Continuous and Emergent Change in Organizations”, “Minimal Structures”, “Positive Leadership”, and “Transcultural Management”. A world-renowned expert and prodigious author on leadership and organisational behaviour, he has worked with a broad range of organisations as an executive trainer and consultant.
