Prof. Luis Vives is the deputy dean for Programmes and associate professor of General Management and Strategy at ESADE Business School.
As an expert in strategy and innovation, Prof. Vives has worked with chairs, CEOs, and senior management teams to discuss, challenge, and scale the way their companies think about strategy and innovation management.
Organisations he has worked with as a lecturer and consultant include Bayer, IKEA, Samsung, Stora Enso, FIA, Mobily, MAPFRE, Repsol, Sberbank, and Telekom Austria Group.
Prior to joining ESADE in 2006, Prof. Vives was a visiting scholar at Harvard University and a postdoctoral fellow at the MIT Sloan School of Management. He received his PhD from IESE Business School.
Prof. Vives’ research focuses on innovative business models. His work has appeared in top-ranked academic journals and in several books. He is a member of the editorial boards of three scientific publications and consulting editor of Harvard Deusto Business Review.
