Gordon CRICHTON studied Electronic Engineering at Manchester University before starting his professional activities with the Plessey Group in the UK. He later moved to ITT before joining Ericsson, and later moving to Sony.

Gordon then became Director of the Institut du Management de l’Achat International (MAI), at Kedge Business School, a position he still holds today. The Institut du Management de l’Achat et de l’Innovation is a Post Graduate Institute which has full time, part time, in-company and consultancy activities specialised in Purchasing and Innovation Management.

The MAI is widely considered to be the reference in its field today. The Institute supplies young professionals to multi-nationals essentially throughout Europe.

Over the past 10 years, the MAI has worked directly, with senior management and offering management support, to L’Oréal, Danone, Chanel, LVMH, Mondelez, Carlsberg, Reckitt Benckiser, Sanofi Aventis, Mars, Johnson and Johnson, British Airways,...

More recently, his activities have been dedicated to developing and implementing ‘Management of Change’ programmes for major multinationals and more especially concerning building strategic supplier relationships and innovation capture initiatives with suppliers.

Gordon lectures at Ecole Centrale Paris and also lectures on advanced management programmes for Insead at Fontainbleau, France.
