Markus Graf is a well-rounded HR executive with 20 years of experience in healthcare and consumer goods at Novartis, Merck, Boehringer Ingelheim and PepsiCo on the country, regional and global level.

He partners with C-suite executives and led diverse teams to shape business transformation and culture change. Currently, he serves as Vice President of Talent at Novartis, a purpose-driven healthcare company with $50 billion sales and 100,000 employees, where he attracts, develops, and engages talent and teams to alleviate some of society's greatest disease burdens.

Recognized as one of IE Business School's ‘Top 50 Leaders Reinventing the World’ and ‘Top 100 Influencers in Human Resources’, Markus contributes as a keynote speaker in events and networks around the globe, including the Chief Talent Officer Network, Top Employer Institute, IMD’s Executive Education Advisory Council and INSEAD’s Round Table on the Future of Work. In addition, he teaches Talent and Change Management at the University of St Gallen (HSG).

He holds an MBA with distinction from IE Business School and an Executive Master in Coaching & Change from INSEAD. Currently, he engages in Wharton’s Chief Human Resources Officer program. He lived, studied, and worked in Germany, France, Singapore, Spain (Barcelona and Madrid), Switzerland and the USA. He and his wife are proud parents of two young boys and live in Switzerland.
